Bristol Clinic Spotlight – Scoliosis SOS Clinic

Located in the Castlemead building at the heart of Bristol, the Bristol Clinic serves as a dedicated satellite centre of the Scoliosis SOS Clinic.  This strategic location provides easier access to world-class Scoliosis treatment for patients residing in the South West of England, the surrounding counties, and across South Wales.  With excellent transport links—including major motorways, A-roads, and comprehensive rail and bus networks—reaching the clinic from nearby towns and regions is convenient and straightforward.

Treatment Options at Our Bristol Clinic

At the Bristol Clinic, we deliver highly specialised 1:1 treatment courses for individuals with Scoliosis and related spinal conditions. Each course begins with a comprehensive initial assessment, which includes detailed measurements and a state-of-the-art Diers Formetric 4D spinal scan, enabling us to assess spinal posture and alignment without radiation.

Our treatment approach follows the evidence-based ScolioGold method, which combines a range of scoliosis-specific physiotherapy techniques tailored to each individual’s condition and goals. These techniques include:

  • Schroth Method
  • FITS (Functional Individual Treatment of Scoliosis)
  • SEAS (Scientific Exercise Approach to Scoliosis)
  • PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation)

In addition to these targeted exercise therapies, we integrate hands-on techniques to support muscular balance and spinal mobility. These include deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and cupping therapy—all of which are used to relieve tension, improve function, and support postural correction.

At the Bristol Clinic, we pride ourselves on delivering personalised, effective care tailored to each individual. But don’t just take our word for it—here’s what some of our patients had to say about their journey toward better health and wellbeing:

“Life-Changing Results”

“Completing my course really has been quite life-changing for me. I do my tailored exercises at home about 2-3 times a week and my back pain has almost disappeared. My posture has also improved and I feel much stronger. I’ve been shocked at both the visual and physical improvement to my back. I just wish I’d found them 10 years ago!!”

“Tailored, Attentive, and Truly Beneficial”

“I underwent the most intensive programme because of the severity of my condition and noticed a marked difference in my own self-image and also my physical health. The one-on-one sessions and the attentiveness of the therapists meant that my course felt really beneficial and tailored to my unique needs. Recommend!”

“Professional and Motivational Care for My Son”

” Lewis, his therapist in Bristol, give him a very professional treatment. He was able to motivate my son to do a daily routine, with personalised training plan updated after each session.
