Post-Spinal Fusion Recovery Gallery

Spinal fusion surgery is a major operation, and patients can take some time to fully recover afterwards. The pain can last for weeks or even months, and certain movements (such as bending, twisting, and lifting heavy objects) are to be avoided, at least initially.

While the Scoliosis SOS Clinic’s main remit is the treatment of scoliosis and other spinal conditions, our physiotherapists have also helped numerous people to recover post-spinal fusion surgery. Our therapeutic techniques can help to reduce pain and improve mobility during the recovery period– see below for some ‘Before & After’ photographs that demonstrate the results we’re capable of achieving.

The course was excellent and I feel I have really benefited from being here. My therapist has been a wonderful teacher, so enthusastic, kind and understanding. I could not have wished for a better team to look after me.
