While the majority of our patients have spines that curve sideways, we at the Scoliosis SOS Clinic have also treated many cases of hyperkyphosis, a condition where the spine curves forward or inward. Hyperkphosis can arise as a result of various different factors, but one of the most common causes is Scheuermann’s disease, a skeletal disorder found primarily in adolescents.
If you suffer from hyperkyphosis, our non-surgical treatment courses can be extremely effective in combating the condition and its symptoms. Our therapeutic methods can correct kyphotic curvature, reduce pain, and improve the patient’s overall quality of life.
Some of our previous hyperkyphosis patients can be seen in the ‘Before & After’ photographs below. If you would like to find out more about our hyperkyphosis treatment courses, please contact Scoliosis SOS today.
